EDUCATION COMMITTEE

NEW MEETING TIME FOR SUNDAY SCHOOL AND ADULT FORUM.

Sunday School and Adult Forum Move to AFTER the Worship Service starting SUNDAY, APRIL 19!

Here are the DETAILS:  Starting this Sunday, April 19, Sunday school and adult forum will meet AFTER worship each week.

The logistics of how this will smoothly transition are:

* As Phyllis cleans the alter table after Eucharist the Crucifer will get the cross and move to the top of the stairs and pause.

* This will be the signal to parents, teachers, and children to gather their belongings and prepare for the teachers and children to FOLLOW the Crucifer out of the Sanctuary and proceed to Sunday school.

* The Crucifer will move down the aisle and the children and teachers will leave the Sanctuary.

* Teachers will insure that all children get upstairs to their classroom.

* The Crucifer will return to the Alter through the Sacristy door for the end of the service.

* Teachers will have a small snack to serve to the children as they gather for Sunday School.

* Any choir members who are teachers will leave with the children.

* Acolytes, Servers, and Torchbearers, will stay until the service ends and join Sunday School slightly late.

Adult Forum will start after a brief 5 minute coffee/social time.

Sunday school and Adult Forum will end by 12 noon or after 45 minutes whichever comes first.

IMPORTANT - Parents please come get your children from Sunday school. Teachers will not release the children unattended.

Building and Grounds

The work day was a success! Remember to stop and check out the handiwork of the St. Thomas Garden Gnomes. Also, take a moment and step out onto the side patio and admire the Great Wall of St. Thomas. (We think it can be seen from space now.)
